After a week of recovery from the Spartan Beast, what better workout to return to than the Old Er AMRAP…man its been so long since I did the old ER I forgot how bad it sucks..and by sucks I mean it’s really hard.

THE OLD ER in case you forgot what it is:  It’s an AMRAP of running to the top of ER hill 20 merkins and 20 LBC’s then run to the top of the parking deck 20 merkins; run back down the stairs 20 LBC’s, run over to the other side of the parking deck up the stairs to the top 20 merkins back down to the bottom 20 LBC’s then run down to the bottom of the hill and that’s one lap. (Each lap you go down one rep on merkins and LBC’s).  Rinse and repeat all this until the 45 minutes is up.

I believe everyone ran naked this morning (which means without weights not literally…although I wouldn’t put it past Cousin Eddie to really run naked…no one wants to see that).

Here’s the score:

Abraham 6 laps, Jordache 7.75 laps (he came very close to Herniators record), Retread 6.75 laps, Fuze 6 laps, Igloo 5.25, Suppository 7.25, Kaposki 6.75, Cousin Eddie 5.75, Flamer 5.25

WOD:  Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.  The difference between knowledge and wisdom:  Knowledge is to know that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is to know not to put it in a fruit salad.  Knowledge is to know that Jesus Christ is Lord; he died for you sins and rose again.  Wisdom is to really dig into the Bible and surround yourself with Godly faithful men and become deeper and grounded in your faith.
