7 pax woke up this morning with the intent to get better. They did not let the 28 degrees keep them in their warm bed but instead, they emmerged into the gloom to workout and have a little fellowship. It was my pleasure to Q the Granite Falls . The morning went a little like this:

Warm-up
Side Straddle Hop IC x15
Imperial Storm Troopers IC x15
Alternating Toe Touches IC x15

The Thang
Mosey out of the parking lot in a direction I have never been before. On the way, I asked Udder Butter where the blocks were just to make sure I was heading in the correct direction. He yelled.. “Head to the blocks!” so I followed. Each man grabbed a block and we did 15 of an exercise while holding a block and then ran up to the top of the hill before returning to our block.

Exercises:

WOD: And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his life span? – Matthew 6:27

As men, we worry about life.. taking care of the family, watching over the family, finances, job, etc. but Jesus tells us not to worry. Jesus did not come so that we would live lives haunted by fear. Galatians tells us that He came and died to set us free from such things. Jesus assures us in Matthew that our Father will take care of us whether we worry or not. We must adopt a new mindset, different from all of society: “We do not know what is coming but our Father does. Let’s leave it to Him.”

If we are worrying, or struggling with something, we NEED to reach out to our F3 brothers and ask for prayer. We do not need to live and battle something alone. We all need to be here for each other and take the step if we notice someone struggling. Let’s lift each other up.

Prayer:
Udder Butter – Bailey (daughter) is having back issues – pray for continued healing
Bailey’s friend (also named Bailey) is having back issues
Donna – having surgery tomorrow (11/23)

Thank you men for letting me come to Granite to workout with you. It was an honor to be your Q this morning.
