First Q at new AO

7 highly motivated men met this morning at the new AO, The Mount.  It was my first time to Q there and it was awesome working with this men!!

We started off with warmups:

  • 15 SS Hops
  • 15 Alt Toe Touches
  • 15 Windmills
  • 15 Imperial Storm Troopers
  • 10 Arm Circles
  • 10 Reverse Arm Circles
  • 15 Humpies

We then did a Burpee Ladder, starting with 10 Burpees and counting down by ones until we got to our one final Burpee.  Between the set of Burpees we would run around a small parking island in the parking lot.  55 Burpees total when we were done!!!

We mosied to the block pile for the following block exercises:

  • 15 Curls for Girls
  • 15 Bench Presses
  • 15 Skull Crushers
  • 10 Overhead Presses
  • 15 Bent Over Rows
  • 10 Kettle Bell Swings

We left our blocks in place and went to the CVS wall and did one set each of the following wall exercises:

  • Mohammed Ali’s
  • Joe Fraziers

We got our arms loosened up and went back to the blocks and repeated the same block exercises as before.

We put our blocks up and mosied back to the starting point for an ab workout:

  • 15 LBC’s
  • 15 RBC’s
  • 10 Pretzels left
  • 10 Pretzels right
  • 10 WWII Situps

We did the count off and name-a-rama.

Our devotion was about the meaning of Jesus’ name, Yahweh Saves.  We spoke on how Jesus came to save us, and not condemn us.  We should not condemn each other either.  We should think of others this Christmas season.
