As YHC showed up for my 2nd Q in a row in Granite Falls there was a change of heart. After talking to the PAX at Hurler and mentioning the route, Utter Butter said “that neighborhood has a lot of hills and the hill from Tater Hole is no joke.” The wheels started to turn and after feeling my legs Tuesday morning a change was due.
Make our way to Highland Ave, L on Grandview then follow Lakeside to Taterhole. Let me mention that this was YHC’s first time running in Granite. Google Maps and Street view can only help so much. We ran through the neighborhood down by the lake coming out onto Duke St and head back to the FLAG.
The change was much appreciated after going through the neighborhood and hills associated with it. YHC’s legs were done and his pace showed it. It was great to be able to post with the great men of Granite Falls. Look forward to coming back.
However I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me-the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24
