Just Another Average Saturday

Well, to say it has been a long week so far would be an understatement. We got a new puppy last Sunday so no one is getting a full night’s sleep, my mother in law has been at our house all week and took a fall in our shower earlier in the week so tat caused some additional stress, both kids have had camp all week and my wife decided to have a Matilda Jane party at our house Friday night with a bunch of ladies. So I say all this to say I didn’t start planning my workout until about 9:15pm Friday night, then got up a little early on Saturday to polish it off and here’s what I came up with:

Warm-o-rama:

Side Straddle Hops x 20 IC

Alternating Toe Touches x 15 IC

Wind Mills x 15 IC

Hill Billy’s x 14 IC

Then we moseyed up to the road and down towards the dead end bridge, but stopped a little short of the very bottom (Just cause I knew what was up next and just wanted to get the blood flowing good). At the bottom of the hill we did:

Close Grip Merkins x 20 OYO

Box Cutters x 20 IC

Hands Off Merkins x 20 OYO

Then we moseyed back up the hill and back to the starting parking lot overlooking the football field that is down at the bottom of a sizeable hill. We then did a set of BLIMPS, doing exercises at the top in the parking lot, then running down the fill and across the field near the far sideline for 20 LBC’s alternating with 20 Flutter Kicks. So it looks like this

Burpees x 10, run down and across field for 20 LBC’s, back across field and up hill to lot for

Lunges x 20,  run down and across field for 20 flutter kicks, back across field and up hill to lot for

Imperial Storm Troopers x 30, run down and across field for 20 LBC’s, back across field and up hill to lot for

Merkins x 40, run down and across field for 20 flutter kicks, back across field and up hill to lot for

Plank Jacks x 50, run down and across field for 20 LBC’s, back across field and up hill to lot for

Squats x 60, run down and across field for 20 flutter kicks, back across field and up hill, then finish up with the last circuit with any PAX so we all finished up at the same time.

Then we lined up and did an Indian run down the road to the Publix parking lot where we found a half wall and did:

Incline Merkins x 10 IC

Dips x 15 IC

Freddie Mercury x 20 IC

Monkey Humpers x 15 IC

We then moseyed back up the hill to the AO.

We circled up and did the count off, name-o-rama and Word of the Day.

Word of the day was from Romans 8:38 – 39, NOTHING can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
