Nice morning today; not too hot, not too cold, juuust right.
Pre-Run has become a staple at OG here in the last few months so its almost implied now….Trail running pre run is relatively new and YHC must admit that it adds a certain je ne sais quoi to what is already, undoubtedly the premier Wed. AO in the greater hickory area!! Ok, hopefully that was enough to get the Arrow boys blood boiling a little bit, so i digress.
I’ll be honest, things have been a little crazy at the Mayo house as of late so YHC didn’t have a ton of time to put into a weinki for the Q this morning, but I have found that it is advantageous to read others backblasts because there are some really good ideas in there. This mornings beat down was inspired by Suppository’s baseball workout last week. In honor of Florida State’s girls being the first ACC team to win the Women’s College World Series Tuesday night, I put together a little 7 inning spread that was sure to delight. Warm Up- Bladdy blah, you know… Started in the super nice new parking lot and 1st inning run opposite from partner, meet 5 push ups, keep going, ebery time you meet is a run; continued for 2 mins.
Moseyed down to the playground for the next couple innings…
2nd inning- Pullups
3rd inning- WW2 Sit Ups
4th inning- Decline Merkins
5th Inning- Pretzels
6th Inning- Burpees
OK so it was only 6 innings, but between the 5th and 6th, we went down nut punch hill and then back up.
COT- talked about never giving up no matter what and always trying to live the best christian lives we can.
