10 men woke up and decided to go for a run – together with their F3 brothers – so they met at Corinth and strolled the streets of Hickory for about 5.35 miles. In Hickory, on Wednesdays, we call it Arrow.
The route was a deviation from “the old usual loop” that has become the default when the Q is not being creative. We hit the Hutton Estate right off the bat. There are a few more hills in there than YHC remembers. From there we turned left and headed back up the long climb to 6th St. We turned right and picked up the “old usual route”. At LRU we deviated again and took a right at the baseball field toward Hampton Heights. We climbed the big hill at Hickory High and headed back to Corinth. Nothing special, just a nice morning run. The weather was great, but the company was even better.
