YHC kept seeing announcements for a these Turkey Trots on the twitters so it was decided to do our own trot at the Slingblade. 8 PAX met in the frigid gloom and started off with announcements and WOD from Phillipians 2:3-11 about being a humble servant.
The route started through town then wound to Lakeside Ave for a trip down the Tater Hole. Flamer suggested this for a name for an FNG, keep that in mind guys. After struggling back up ol’ Tater we circled around hillside (YHC was asleep still and missed a turn so it was an extra .5 mile for me) and back to the flag for the first 5k. We then journeyed down to the Pond Bridge for a trip across that rickety, leaning POS then back up the hill. Some PAX finished the route out around the post office for a nice 10k. Proud of all who came out today- Happy Thanksgiving!
